on Oct 30, 2009 - This one is the best by far. I've been an amatuer weather buff for years and have had mobile applications since they were offered. I've wanted a mobile program that was concise and user friendly and this one is spot on. The data is updated continuously. The lightning detection is something I have never seen on a mobile platform and is awesome. I work heavy iron in the field and this would ultimatily be a life saver. The 3 month subscription may invoke a pass, but don't. This program has many advantages over the static "one time fee" programs. I've cross checked with the online websites and it's very accurate. I live in one of the most difficult places in North America to forecast weather,and this one taps the source. My take?? "My Cast" four stars because everything i"ve tested so far is over rated and this one will only get better, if in doubt, download the trial. kudos digital cyclone.

on Aug 29, 2009 - I have tried Fizz Weather, Weather Bug and Weather Today. I then tried My Cast for Windows Mobile. I have finally found the best and most accurate weather application. My Cast is Top of the Line. An extra bonus is that this version is not a wretched java or J2ME application. Its a full blown windows mobile cab application. More convenient to not have to launch a java runtime environment to use this. Not to mention looks esthetically pleasing. They really did a great job with the weather themes. The whole application is alive with constant changes based on weather conditions. Outstanding!!!
